Gonna do the football blog a little different...gonna give one key for each team playing today...so 14 games=28 teams and 28 keys to victory
New Orleans vs. Atlanta
New Orleans: After clinching the NFC South last week, all they'll play for now is best record in NFC....is there enough motivation for that?
Atlanta: Can they overcome injuries to starting RB Michael Turner and starting QB Matt Ryan? Chris Redman has to be much better this week...
Denver vs. Indianapolis
Denver: The running game is finding its stride....rushed for 245 yards last week....need a similar performance to keep Indy's D on the field
Indianapolis: The Colts have to match the intensity that the Broncos will bring....Denver needs this game badly for their playoff chances...
Seattle vs. Houston
Seattle and Houston: Same key for both...with both teams at 5-7, the team that comes out feeling less sorry for themselves will win the game
Carolina vs. New England
Carolina: Matt Moore is in again for Jake Delhomme....he has to be good enough so that the Pats don't load up completely against the run....
New England: Can they overcome the off-the-field distractions going on around them this week? Is Tom Brady anywhere close to 100%? We'll see
Buffalo vs. Kansas City
Buffalo: The Bills have had trouble putting points on the board...if they can't do it against the 30th-ranked defense, they deserve to lose!
Kansas City: Will Matt Cassel return to the form that convinced K.C. management to fork over 28 million guaranteed? We may see Brodie Croyle
Detroit vs. Baltimore
Detroit: The Lions are a bad football team with Matt Stafford....just imagine how bad they're gonna be today with Daunte Culpepper starting!
Baltimore: Seems like all the Ravens have to do is show up and they get to 7-6....Joe Flacco has to be better for this team down the stretch
Cincinnati vs. Minnesota
Cincinnati: The Bengals have the top-rated defense in the NFL, but can they handle a great offense led by Brett Favre and Adrian Peterson...
Minnesota: The Vikes struggled on offense last week against Arizona...AP ran for season-low 19 yards...will they continue to struggle today?
N.Y. Jets vs. Tampa Bay
N.Y. Jets: Mark Sanchez - out and Kellen Clemens - in...but Clemens won't be a big factor....the Jets have the #1 rushing offense in the NFL
Tampa Bay: Josh Freeman cannot make as many mistakes inside the red zone as he did last week against Carolina...5 INTS is just unacceptable!
Miami vs. Jacksonville
Miami: How much momentum do the Dolphins carry over after a great come-from-behind win against NE? Could prove 2 be a season-changing win...
Jacksonville: Mike Sims-Walker not expected to play....this means the Jags will rely even more so on Maurice Jones-Drew and the run game....
Green Bay vs. Chicago
Green Bay: Despite 3 turnovers and 11 penalties, they still pulled it out against the Ravens...just have 2 clean up their game to get to 9-4
Chicago: Simply put, the elite-level players for this team have not performed this year...Jay Cutler has to be better, so does Matt Forte...
St. Louis vs. Tennessee
St. Louis: Steven Jackson has been great despite playing 4 the Rams, but Kyle Boller has to be better to add a passing threat to the offense
Tennessee: Vince Young is out, but it really doesn't matter who plays quarterback right now...Chris Johnson is playing like a man possessed!
Washington vs. Oakland
Washington: Were they able to use the week between games to get over the loss to the Saints? From my vantage point, it doesn't look like it!
Oakland: Bruce Gradkowski is bringing stability to the QB spot in Oakland...there might be hope for this team after all...get rid of J-Russ!
San Diego vs. Dallas
San Diego: You gotta give credit to the Chargers...they always find their game in December and every aspect of their game is coming together
Dallas: Can Tony Romo play well in a December game? Wlll the defense struggle for a second straight week against a potent San Diego offense?
Philadelphia vs. New York Giants
Philadelphia: DeSean Jackson is back for the Eagles....will he be playing at 100%? If so, the Eagles have their dangerous deep threat again!
New York Giants: Brandon Jacobs has to be a factor tonight for the Giants to win...in the last 3 games, Jacobs is averaging 35 yards rushing
