For once, my thought on the Sens goaltending meshed with the Sens' decision making...Pascal Leclaire gets the nod tonight over Brian Elliott
It's perfectly clear after 4 games in this series that Brian Elliott was not capable of handling the pressure and that change was necessary!
Doesn't mean Elliott can't learn from the experience and become better for it, but in a must-win, you can't stick with someone struggling...
For Pascal Leclaire, he's in charge of turning around the goaltending of the Sens and quick...this is why you get paid millions of dollars...
Fair or not, the way Sens fans look at Leclaire going forward will depend a lot on tonight...the anger will be off the charts if he falters!
Look, we can focus all we want on the goaltending...but if the mental mistakes and turnovers continue, it will be another ugly night in Pitt
