Sens have nothing to be ashamed of...give them tons of credit for making the Pens earn that fourth win...they simply lost to a powerhouse...
Also give credit to Pascal Leclaire for another solid goaltending effort...just wonder what could have been if he started in the first place
Couldn't believe that the Pens were coming out so flat in the first half of that hockey game...they almost gave away a second straight game!
And the Sens came out with determination and knowledge that their season was on the line yet again...they took advantage and got a big lead!
But something was realized in the Pens' locker room between the 2nd and 3rd periods...all of a sudden, they found that killer instinct again
And when a team as talented as Pittsburgh finds that killer instinct like they showed from the 3rd until the winner, they are unstoppable...
In the 3rd period, the Pens were so motivated...the Sens were nervous, timid and holding on for dear life...they were trying to avoid losing
Now the talk of next year begins, but give yourselves a night to relax and unwind somehow....it is a beautiful Saturday night after all :-)
