Machida/Rua Tonight!

Can't believe I just turned down a free ticket to UFC in Montreal tonight...but other things that I have 2 do in Ottawa instead...dammit :-)

It's hard 2 predict how the rematch between Machida and Shogun will go tonight...Shogun got robbed in the first fight, but can he duplicate?

Or can Machida make the necessary adjustments and prove why he's become a poster boy for the UFC and has the undefeated mark of 16-0 in MMA?

I get the sense (and so does Vegas) that Machida will win the fight...biggest adjustment he needs...has to be much more aggressive/assertive

For Rua, he can't simply rest on doing exactly what he did in the first fight...he's going to have to find another way to slay the Dragon...

The co-main event is an intriguing matchup as well...Josh Koscheck takes on Paul Daley in a title eliminator...winner gets next crack at GSP

It comes down to what fighter can impose his favourite style...for Koscheck, he wants a wrestling match...for Daley, he wants a stand-up war

But usually in the wrestler vs. "boxer" matchup, the wrestler will come out on top...Daley will have to show an ability 2 avoid takedowns...
