It's definitely starting to stick out that the trip is close to coming to an end because we're now into June....Have a flight to Minneapolis today to meet my roommate and we'll see the Twins game tomorrow....that will be stadium number 23....
My roommate and I have planned meeting in Minny even before I left, so while I was gone, he took it upon himself to plan everything out for the three days that we are there....it's a nice change because it really gives me a chance to let go and just allow the plan to take me wherever....I get into Minny later this afternoon and apparently from the airport, we go straight to our dinner reservations, so looking forward to that...
Yesterday, had a chance to see Coors Field for the Rockies game....it's hard to imagine that the Rockies made the World Series only two years ago because the team now looks like a shell of their former self....I feel bad for the fan base because they're still on the high of making it so far only a couple years back, but every time they had to the ballpark this year, there's either no pitching or no hitting...
As for the stadium itself, it's not a bad stadium, but it rates in the middle because it didn't give me that jolt that I need to get excited about the place....I really can't name you a characteristic about it that stands out.....at least they got it right when they built it in the downtown core....
As you can see, the lack of text on the stadium just shows that it didn't really register with me....again, it's not a terrible place by any stretch, but it's another one where I just shrug my shoulders and move on....
